Blog Translation: Hayashi Runa (August 27th, 2020)

Otsukaresama desu! Thanks for participating at the Oogiri! It's Hayashi Runa.

Thanks for the hard work today as well.

It's Hayashi Runa, the (new) 4th generation member of Nogizaka46.

16 years old, 2nd-year HS student from Kanagawa Prefecture.

I'm Hayashi Runa, the sixteenager that didn't bloom.
(reference to marika-sensei's PV(hana-saku sixteen) but at the contrary)

Don't lose, don't be discouraged, Hayashi Runa! today is another day of hard work!!
(makeruna, shogeruna, Hayashi Runa! kyõ mo ichinichi ganbaruna! )
(ping-pong)

This is my 25th round of the blog relay.

It's the all Japan Amateur Hayashi Oogiri Competition.

sudden.

Since I cut my hair the last time I haven't done it again, and even with that, I've been bombarded with questions like [Did you cut your hair?]. Even though I didn't cut it at all.

...........................................................................

From my last blog,

① [Think of a # that doesn't make sense]

② [To the kanjis that are in「林瑠奈」give them a different pronunciation than (hayashi runa)]

③ [how do you ingest acrobatic pills, in a way like catching eye drops from the second floor?]
(the expression [eye drops from the second floor] is like something that cannot be done no matter how hard one tries, it's hard to understand, but it doesn't need to be specifically mathematics, just wittiness)

④ [Hayashi Runa got a Guinness world record, what's the record?]

We had some good laughs with the above 4 subjects.

Although it was a bit sudden, I was very happy to see so a lot of comments from everyone.

From here, I would like to introduce some of them that I personally thought that were funny, and just good.

[Think of a # that doesn't make sense]

《Hayashi's answer》

A. #up-san's lunch.    #上さんの昼飯
(the "ue" from "up(上)" can be also the "ue" from "hunger(飢え)"... well played runa)

........................................................................

《Everyone's answers》

A. #cheese steamed buns get too much dough on the sheets

Yeah!! I know what you mean. And the cover of the yogurt too.
Another frustrating thing is the mitarashi dumpling in the second lane of the pack.
(what japanese 7-eleven buyers are silent about?, we don't know about that tho)

A.  #I want to meet the people who think the only difference between Japan and Bangladesh is the color of the flag

I thought "you're right!!", at first,
But then I wondered "isn't the flag of Bangladesh with the circle at the left?" so then I searched it and it was true.

It's not just the color, not at all. But I like it anyways.

[To the kanjis that are in「林瑠奈」give them a different pronunciation than (hayashi runa)]

《Hayashi's answer》

A. Iniesta     いにえすた
(none of the kanjis has that sound, buy hayashi runa can also be heard as bold runner(hageshii run-na- , 禿しいルンーナー) = Iniesta, the football player, maybe is for that)

........................................................................

《Everyone's answers》

A. raisu (rice)・Kokumuchoukan(Secretary of state)

mmm...pff...haha.  I'm not so much spooked about [rice] as I am of [Secretary of State].

Not the president or gods or the prime minister, which is easy to understand, but a bold secretary of state.
I like it very much. More than Hayashi Runa.

A. Iniesta

Yes, it was there. After I did it, I thought to myself, "Surely Iniesta will be there".

*****************

[how do you ingest acrobatic pills, in a way like catching eye drops from the second floor?]

《Hayashi's answer》

A. With a squishy shepherd's pie wafer.      グチャグチャオブラートシェパードパイ.

........................................................................

《Everyone's answers》

A. With an intravenous drip boiled in a humidifier.

Wow, that doesn't sound like something you'd expect. This certainly sounds like something I could do.

I wonder how you'd use the drip, by nasal inhalation style?

I'm going to check it out.

A. Directly eating poultices while running.

It's so funny. I like it!

***************

[Hayashi Runa got a Guinness world record, what's the record?]

《Hayashi's answer》

A. 1-minute leg-hanging relay.

《Everyone's answers》

A. One-minute white-eyes - 102 times! (I tried it at the birthday lol)

I thought for sure someone would say that! I knew it.

***************

wah~ thank you very much!

I had a lot of fun with everyone's sense of humor.

I'm going to do it again.

........................................................................

Today, August 27th .

Happy birthday, Matsumura Sayuri-san!

She's the one who got me into Nogizaka for the first time.
She's very cute and has a gluttonous side, a high level of variety skills, and a witty comedy in Kansai dialect. There are so many contrasts between her and me, and I admire her so much.

When I was interviewed by a magazine, I started to talk about Matsumura-san.
[I met Matsumura-san the other day and when I asked her what she had for dinner last night, she said to me, 「Yesterday the salted salmon was cheap, so I cooked that plus 3 cups of rice and I ate all together with the salmon on the top of the bowl.」]
and then the interviewer asked me, 「How much rice does Hayashi-san eat?」. that talk still remains vividly in my memory.

Although I only had the chance to talk to her a little bit, I wish her all the best for a wonderful year!

August 23rd.

Happy Birthday, Mukai Hazuki-san!

Your positive attitude always inspires me.
I talked to a hair stylist before and it told me about Mukai-san.

And said to me, [She has a baby attached to her glasses.], what she gave me was like a power word information, but I was like, [I knew it too! It's the baby soldier--!].

I'm not sure if I'm right about the baby soldier, but from what I heard from the hair stylist, I'm sure she's a really interesting person and I hope to have the chance to talk to her someday.

I wish you a wonderful year, and I'm sending you a prayer with as much power as a hamster running in a wheel!

August 24th.

Happy Birthday, Seira-chan!
She's always with Mayu and keeps me company when I'm going through something I don't understand. But when she listens to my requests, I think she's a big sister.

From now on, I'm sure I'll make you feel annoyed by my lack of dancing skills, so I apologize in advance. I'm sorry.

I'll do my best to make your year as wonderful as possible.

........................................................................

Tomorrow is Miyu.

Are the assignments finished safely?

You worked really hard, so even if you didn't finish your assignment, Miyu's still great. I'm so proud of you!

I'm so~ sorry!

I failed to take a selfie at the right time and it ended up being a single photo.
Please forgive me but next time I'll take more selfies.

Adios!!!!!!!!
